Mississippi State added to its 2017 recruiting class on Friday night when a three-star defensive tackle announced he was committing to the school.

Taekion Reed, a Mississippi native, said on Twitter that he was going to be a Bulldog in 2017:

Aside from the fact that he called it the University of Mississippi State instead of Mississippi State University, it’s a good addition for Dan Mullen and his coaching staff.

According to 247Sports, Reed is the No. 140 defensive tackle in the class of 2017 and the No. 35 overall recruit from the state of Mississippi.
