Mississippi State offensive lineman Kwatrivious Johnson was arrested Monday and charged with malicious mischief after allegedly vandalizing a car in Starkville.

Despite the arrest, during his media availability leading up to the Bulldogs’ game Saturday night against NC State, MSU coach Mike Leach said that he expected to have Johnson available against the Wolfpack.

And it appears as if that remains the plan, as Johnson, who is a starter at right guard, has joined his teammates on the field for warmups.

Johnson, a 6-7, 320-pound redshirt junior, appeared in 8 games and made 3 starts for the Bulldogs in 2020.

The Greenwood, Mississippi native was a highly touted recruit for Mississippi State, having been ranked as a 4-star prospect by the 247Sports composite and the No. 294 overall prospect in the nation in the 2018 class.
