Mississippi State, Ole Miss reveal date, kickoff time for 2025 Egg Bowl

The 2025 Egg Bowl now officially has kickoff time and date. For the second straight season, the battle between Mississippi State and Ole Miss will be held on Black Friday, November 28, and is set to kick off at 11 am CT.
Both programs released the news on social media and via release on Thursday afternoon:
In Mississippi State’s release, the Bulldogs reminded fans that Mississippi State basketball is also set to host SMU on Black Friday, just after the conclusion of the Egg Bowl. This matchup against the Mustangs will finish a home-and-home series that the Bulldogs won last season in Dallas.
Ole Miss has dominated the Egg Bowl across the past 5 seasons (4-1) and holds a moderate edge in the all-time series, 66-47-6. The Rebels won last season’s matchup 26-14, extending their streak to 2. Mississippi State last won in 2022 by a score of 24-22.
This season’s Egg Bowl should be similar to season’s past. The Bulldogs are projected to be in the lower tier of SEC teams next season while Ole Miss’ future is uncertain with Jaxson Dart now off to the NFL with the New York Giants.
