Mississippi State will return starting QB Will Rogers in 2022, when he expects to be one of the league’s leading passers.

Now, though, the depth behind him in the Bulldogs’ QB room has reportedly taken a hit.

Per 247Sports, Jack Kristofek, who started his college career in the FCS ranks at Sam Houston State, will explore his transfer options and has entered his name in the portal:

Kristofek’s bio has already been removed from the Mississippi State athletics website, so it does seem a transfer is coming.

Where Kristofek ends up next remains to be seen, but it appears his time in Starkville has come to an end.
