Arguably the top commitment within Mississippi State’s 2017 recruiting class, RB prospect Kylin Hill had himself quite a day on Saturday afternoon.
Hill had been selected to participate in the Alabama-Mississippi All-Star Game — an event showcasing the best high school talent from each state.
Fellow prep RB Cam Akers normally garners all the hype as the top rusher within the state. However, it was Hill coming away with MVP honors in this prestigious competition:
Columbus RB and Mississippi State commit Kylin Hill (98 yards) named MVP for Mississippi.

Hill is a very good all-around back. He’s excellent at cutting upfield and gobbling up yardage. Not only is he powerful between-the-tackles, but he’s also very fast.
When factoring in the preexisting skill talent including QB Nick Fitzgerald and RB Aeris Williams, Mississippi State’s offense might be very deadly next season.
