Mississippi State defensive grad assistant (linebackers) Jonathan Patke is leaving to join Miami in a quality control role, according to FootballScoop.com.
Patke joins former Mississippi State defensive coordinator Manny Diaz, who left the program on Jan. 2 to guide Mark Richt’s defense at Miami.
According to Patke’s Twitter account, he’ll be assisting with linebackers.
