Nathan Pickering has been committed to Mississippi State since June. However, the 4-star defensive end is making a visit to Alabama on Saturday.

But Pickering may not be there just to take a look at the Crimson Tide.

Alabama hosts Mississippi State on Saturday and ahead of the matchup, Pickering tweeted on Monday “Watch we shock the world,” appearing to indicate that he’ll be rooting for the Bulldogs.

Pickering hasn’t made any official visits this season, but he made an unofficial visit to Alabama on Sept. 8.

Pickering is the No. 4 strong-side defensive end recruit in the 2019 class per the 247sports composite rankings, as well as the No. 3 recruit from Mississippi.

Mississippi State has six 4-star recruits in its 2019 class, including Pickering. The Bulldogs have the No. 19 class in the nation per 247sports, which ranks 10th in the SEC.

No. 1 Alabama and No. 18 Mississippi State are set to kick off at 4:30 p.m. ET on Saturday.
