Missouri’s first day of the Early Signing Period is going well.
The Tigers have signed several of their top commits already, including 5-star Williams Nwaneri. But Eli Drinkwitz and Co. also added a nice piece out of the transfer portal with former Georgia edge rusher Darris Smith.
Smith played 2 seasons at Georgia before entering the portal. He appeared in 16 games and totaled 6 tackles with 1 pass deflection. This past season Smith saw action in 5 games, totaling 3 tackles and a tackle for loss.
Here’s his post announcing his commitment via Instagram:

Missouri has now received a pair of transfer portal commitments in the past 24 hours. Former Oklahoma offensive lineman Cayden Green pledged to the Tigers last night.
That brings Missouri’s transfer portal haul to 4 as of Wednesday. Missouri also earned commitments from former Georgia State running back Marcus Carroll and former Clemson cornerback Toriano Pride.
