Missouri has added a former 4-star offensive lineman to help its depth up front.

EJ Ndoma-Ogar has signed with the Tigers after he decided to leave Oklahoma and enter the NCAA transfer portal, according to Dave Matter of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. Ndoma-Ogar was a member of the 2019 recruiting class who spent his first college season with the Sooners.

Ndoma-Ogar played in only four games as a freshman at Oklahoma in 2019, so he still has four years of eligibility. He’ll be able to play for Missouri beginning in 2021.

A 6-foot-3 guard out of Allen (Texas) High School, Ndoma-Ogar was the No. 267 recruit in the 2019 class per the 247Sports Composite rankings. He was the No. 17 offensive guard and the No. 34 recruit from Texas.

Missouri’s depth along the offensive line has been tested this season, as tackle Larry Borom (lower leg) and guard Xavier Delgado (ankle) are now also both currently out due to injuries. Ndoma-Ogar won’t be able to help this season, but he could provide important depth once he suits up next year.

Mizzou confirmed the news, officially announcing Ndoma-Ogar’s arrival to the program with a tweet on Friday:
