Saturday wasn’t originally supposed to be a home game for Missouri. They were all set to head down south to Baton Rouge to take on LSU at Death Valley.
Mother Nature, though, had other ideas. Hurricane Delta’s landfall along the Gulf Coast meant severe weather was in the forecast for the region, meaning that instead of hitting the road, Mizzou would play host to the defending champions at Faurot Field.
While LSU is a 14-point favorite over its 0-2 opponent, Mizzou will enter Saturday’s game looking to spring an upset and hand 1st-year coach Eli Drinkwitz a first win to remember. On Friday, it dropped its hype video for the Week 3 matchup, which features Drinkwitz’s pregame speech before the Tigers’ game against Tennessee.
