Missouri lands commitment from in-state defensive end Arvell Ferguson

Arvell Ferguson is staying close to home for college.

On Thursday, the 3-star defensive end from St. Louis announced that he has committed to Missouri. Ferguson, who is listed at 6-foot-5, 215 pounds, attends Kirkwood High School.

Ferguson is the No. 29 recruit from Missouri per the 247sports composite rankings, as well as the No. 94 weak-side defensive end.

Ferguson announced his decision with a commitment video on Twitter featuring his mother. Watch below:

Ferguson is the 11th commit in Missouri’s 2019 class, 10 of which are 3-stars.

The Tigers were the only SEC team to offer Ferguson, who chose them over Wyoming and Ball State, among other schools.
