The CFP committee never gave Missouri much respect, even when the Tigers had won six games in a row and won the SEC East.

At No. 16 prior to the SEC Championship, there wasn’t any chance Missouri would have made it into the final four spots even with a win in the conference championship, but the committee decided that a 29-point loss to Alabama didn’t warrant a drop in the final CFP rankings.

The Tigers will finish just outside the top-15.

Alabama, Oregon, FSU and Ohio State are the final four teams with the Big 12 getting snubbed as Baylor and TCU finish No. 5 and No. 6.
