One of the SEC basketball games scheduled for Saturday has been put on hold. South Carolina announced Friday that the Gamecocks men’s basketball game against Missouri, scheduled for 1 p.m., has been postponed.

Winter storm Gia has done a number on Columbia, Mo. Twitter user Rob Quinn shared that he was on a plane leaving the Columbia airport that slid off the runway. The storm is keeping the Tigers hoops squad from leaving Columbia to play the game in South Carolina.

South Carolina (7-7, 2-0) is currently first in the SEC with wins over Florida and Mississippi State. Missouri (9-4, 0-1 SEC) is coming off a 87-63 loss to Tennessee on Tuesday night.
