An unpaid traffic ticket has led to a major headache for Missouri WR Jonathan Nance.
The graduate transfer from Arkansas was arrested by University of Missouri campus police on Friday. Per Dave Matter of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, Nance was pulled over for failing to stop at a sign when the police discovered an outstanding warrant for his failure to appear in court on Aug. 14. In June, Nance was cited by the State Highway Patrol in Miller County for not wearing his seatbelt. The Friday stop resulted in citations for the stop-sign violation and driving with a suspended license. He was taken to Boone County Jail with his bond set at $100.
Nance is Mizzou’s leading receiver with 27 catches for 410 yards and three touchdowns. He was also the leading wide receiver at Arkansas in 2017. Nance is part of an MU senior class set to play its home finale on Saturday against Tennessee.

Pay your tickets, sports fans. Boone County has gotten especially vigilant with warrants for unpaid tickets. Nance’s original ticket was only $10. Not paying & skipping court date led to his arrest and a bigger fine.
