Mitch Barnhart contract extension: Kentucky reportedly makes decision on long-time AD

Mitch Barnhart is in line to receive a contract extension as the long-time Kentucky athletics director had a contract that was set to expire after the 2025-26 school year.
The university’s 10th athletics director, Barnhart is expected to receive a new contract to keep him in Lexington through June 2028, according to Matt Jones of Kentucky Sports Radio.
