The Missouri Tigers didn’t put together a very strong 2018 recruiting class, so coach Barry Odom needs to have a big 2019 cycle.

On Tuesday, he took a step in that direction, reaching up into Big Ten country to land a commitment from a safety out of Michigan.

As you can see below, 3-star S Aidan Harrison announced on Twitter that he was committing to Mizzou:

According to the 247Sports composite, Harrison is the No. 120 safety in the class of 2019 and the No. 44 overall recruit from the state of Michigan.

Harrison is the second player in Odom’s 2019 class, joining 4-star WR Shamar Nash out of Florida. The key to the Tigers’ 2019 class will be in-state recruiting, but for now, Odom is off to a solid start.
