The Missouri Tigers have to recruit the St. Louis area well in order to succeed, and coach Barry Odom has struggled there in recent years.

However, the Tigers seem to be rebounding in that area, and on Saturday morning, they landed a commitment from a 2020 quarterback out of Chaminade College Prep.

As you can see in the tweet below, 3-star pro-style QB Brady Cook announced he was committing to the Tigers on Saturday morning:

According to the 247Sports composite, Cook is the No. 28 pro-style quarterback in the class of 2020 and the No. 9 overall recruit from the state of Missouri.

Per 247Sports, Cook is the first player in Mizzou’s 2020 class.
