Missouri has reportedly found its new baseball coach. Multiple outlets, including D1 Baseball, are reporting that Memphis coach Kerrick Jackson will be the new Mizzou skipper.
Jackson served as a Mizzou assistant from 2011-to-2015. He was the head coach at Southern from 2018-to-2020. In Jackson’s lone season at Memphis, the Tigers went 29-28.

Last Sunday, Mizzou athletic director Desireé Reed-Francois announced the dismissal of Steve Bieser, who went 188-155-1 in 7 seasons with the Tigers. Reed-Francois has pledged more resources to the Mizzou baseball program.
“Baseball is important to our University, our conference, and our state,” Reed-Francois said when announcing the coaching change. “We understand the vital role baseball plays, and we are committed to further increasing our investment in the program and look forward to future successes.”
Mizzou went 30-24 in 2023, missing the NCAA Tournament.
