Cuonzo Martin has turned to the transfer portal again. The Mizzou frontcourt is getting a boost with a commitment from a former UMass forward.

Ronnie DeGray III announced his decision to transfer to the Tigers on Wednesday. Listed at 6-7, 220 pounds, DeGray averaged 8.7 points and 4.6 rebounds per game over 15 outings as a freshman.

DeGray’s UMass bio lists a quote from Minutemen head coach Matt McCall.

“Ronnie has an unbelievable skillset and great feel. I’m a guy who loves frontcourt players who can really pass. With how we want to play on offense, when you can get those kinds of guys with the ability to pass, it makes us really difficult to guard. Ronnie’s also a guy who’s played in the system defensively, and he has extremely high character.”

DeGray will have four years of eligibility remaining.
