The Missouri Tigers have been red-hot on the recruiting trails under new coach Eliah Drinkwitz.

On Saturday, the Tigers landed commitment No. 17 for their 2021 class, beating out Baylor, Colorado, Nebraska and Texas.

As you can see below, 3-star DE Jonathan Jones announced via Twitter that he’d be playing for the Mizzou program in 2021 and beyond:

Per the 247Sports composite rankings, Jones is the No. 53 strong-side defensive end in the class of 2021 and the No. 110 overall recruit from the state of Texas.

The Tigers now have 17 players in their 2021 recruiting class. Prior to Jones’s commitment, that class ranked No. 23 in the nation and No. 7 in the SEC, per 247Sports.
