Mizzou is in Nashville to take on Vanderbilt in Week 8, as it looks to put a damper on the Commodores’ historic season while improving its own College Football Playoff hopes. In the lead-up to that one, though, the Tigers have picked up a win on the recruiting trail.
Ahmod Billins, a native of Abbeville, Ala., committed to Mizzou on Saturday, according to Rivals’ Hayes Fawcett. Billins becomes the Tigers’ 20th committed player in the class of 2026.
Billins is 6-foot-2 and 175 pounds. He has an athlete designation in 247Sports’ databases, but is being recruited as a cornerback by Eli Drinkwitz‘s program.
Billins has played on both sides of the ball in high school, seeing time at quarterback but also lining up in the defensive backfield. He is also a point guard on the basketball team. His commitment makes four defensive backs in the 2026 class for the Tigers, including a trio of safeties in Atlanta-area product Tony Forney, Fayetteville, Arkansas product Brody Jones, and Houston-area standout Carter Stewart.
All told, according to 247Sports, the Mizzou 2026 recruiting class currently ranks 27th in the country and 11th in the SEC.
