Missouri added a big-time prospect to its 2027 recruiting class on Tuesday afternoon.
The Tigers landed a commitment from 4-star tight end Jack Brown. He chose Mizzou over programs such as Kansas State, Illinois, Arizona State and others, according to Rivals’ Hayes Fawcett.
In addition to those schools mentioned above, Brown has offers from Tennessee, Oregon, Michigan and Florida State, among others.
Brown is a massive pickup for Mizzou. He’s currently regarded as the No. 100 overall player and the No. 5 tight end in the country for the class of 2027, per 247Sports Composite rankings. He’s also the No. 2 player from the state of Missouri.
Keeping Brown in the state for his college career was a big prior for the Tigers. He attends Francis Howell Central High School in St. Charles, Missouri. He’s listed at 6-foot-5, 215 pounds.
Mizzou is now up to 4 commits in the 2027 recruiting class. The Tigers’ class currently ranks No. 23 nationally, per 247Sports Composite rankings.
