When 2018 DB Vincent Gray didn’t sign with Mizzou during the early signing period, it wasn’t too much of a stretch to think he was still considering other schools.

That turned out to be the case, as the talented defender decommitted from the Tigers on Saturday afternoon.

As you can see in the Twitter post below, Gray thanked the Missouri coaches and then announced his decision to reopen his recruitment:

According to the 247Sports composite, Gray is the No. 60 cornerback in the class of 2018 and the No. 17 overall recruit from the state of Michigan.

Gray took an official visit to Iowa State on Dec. 1 and also picked up a Michigan offer on Dec. 18, so it wouldn’t be a huge surprise to see him end up with the Wolverines.

Meanwhile, the Tigers will turn their attentions elsewhere as they try to pick up some more 2018 recruits.
