A bad season got even worse for the Missouri Tigers on Saturday morning.

During a bye week, when it should have been impossible for them to lose, they still found a way to take a loss as a 2018 commit decided to reopen his recruiting process.

OLB La’Dedric Jackson, an Alabama native, tweeted early Saturday morning that he was de-committing from the Tigers and looking at other options:

According to the 247Sports composite, Jackson — a 3-star recruit — is the No. 61 outside linebacker in the 2018 class and the No. 33 overall recruit from the state of Alabama.

Before Jackson’s de-commitment, the Tigers had the No. 12 recruiting class in the SEC and the No. 43 class in the nation.

Coach Barry Odom is going to have his work cut out for him on the recruiting trails the next few months if he’s going to improve those rankings.
