Missouri ended the 2019 season on a high note, a 24-14 win over Arkansas, but the injury to QB Connor Bazelak put a damper on celebrating the Battle Line Rivalry victory.

On Tuesday, reporters in Columbia had the chance to talk to Bazelak. According to Dave Matter, Bazelak told reporters that he’ll have ACL surgery on Thursday and plans to be ready for the 2020 season.

“I’m fully expecting to attack the rehab and be back ready to go for the season,” Bazelak said, per Matter.

Bazelak played in only three games, so he can redshirt the 2019 season. The freshman was 15-of-21 passing for 144 yards.

TCU transfer Shawn Robinson is expected to be Mizzou’s starting QB in 2020.
