Missouri pulled off an incredible feat on Saturday. The radio call of the final play of the game by Mike Kelly is sure to fire up the Mizzou faithful.

You could hear the crowd roar after the kick went through the uprights at Faurot Field. Kelly delivered a great call of the action.

“Out to hold, Luke Bauer with three seconds to play in regulation, tied at 27. Good snap, good place,” said Kelly. “Kick is up. It is……. a walk-off win from 61 yards! Harrison Mevis sends the Mizzou students running onto the turf as Missouri wins it on a 61-yard field goal by Harrison Mevis.”

Mevis, the veteran kicker from Warsaw, Indiana, will remember the moment for quite some time. This is a huge win for Eli Drinkwitz and the program.

Mevis was a Lou Groza Award semifinalist in 2021 and 2022 and showed fans why that was in Week 3.

The life of a kicker isn’t always an easy one, but moments like this will go a long way for the Missouri kicker.

Even after what happened with the delay of game penalty to move the field goal back, Mevis came up clutch.

Missouri will be celebrating this win for a while. Especially after losing to Kansas State by a big margin last season.
