Mizzou takes halftime lead at Vanderbilt with incredible Hail Mary

Mizzou was facing a daunting and embarrassing prospect on Saturday in Nashville. With only a couple of seconds left in the first half, they were trailing the Vanderbilt Commodores 14-10.
But, the Tigers take a 17-14 lead into the intermission thanks to an incredible final play of the second quarter.
As you can see below, QB Connor Bazelak hit WR Keke Chism for a 45-yard Hail Mary touchdown as time expired in the second quarter:

Obviously, you don’t want to be in a position where you are about to trail a team that hasn’t won an SEC game this year at halftime. But, that’s the way things have gone for the Tigers this year (and Mizzou is winless in SEC play, too).
We’ll see if the long touchdown pass sparks something in the Tigers in the second half.
