Mizzou to be without a pair of running backs against Delaware State

Highly-touted graduate transfer RB Alex Ross from Oklahoma made a big impact in his first game with the Missouri Tigers.
Against West Virginia, he ran for 67 yards and contributed in the kick return game.
However, since then, he’s been sidelined with an ankle injury. He and fellow RB Nate Strong will miss this afternoon’s game against Delaware State:

The Tigers shouldn’t need Ross and Strong to take down the Hornets, an FCS opponent, but it’d be helpful to have both of them getting more comfortable with Josh Heupel’s offense.
Mizzou and Delaware State will kick off at 3 p.m. Central time. The game can be seen on the SEC Network.
