Missouri wide receiver Theo Wease had a surprise waiting for him in his hotel room in College Station.

The WR had a Texas A&M blanket and a note waiting on him that said “Get used to this blanket, it will be real tomorrow,” signed William “The Blanket” Lee.

If you don’t know, A&M’s Will Lee III has been one of the best corners in the nation in 2024.

Lee is tied for 7th in passes defended with 7. Lee’s nickname is “The Blanket” due to his coverage ability.

Wease will be a tough challenge for Lee, however. The WR leads Mizzou in catches and receiving yards with 26 for 287. Wease and Luther Burden form arguably the nation’s top WR duo.

Lee has had a phenomenal season thus far in his 1st season with the Aggies. Lee transferred after playing at Kansas State in 2023. The corner is 2nd on the team with 20 tackles in 2024. Lee also has a team-leading 7 passes defended.

Since losing to Notre Dame in Week 1, the No. 25 Aggies have been on a roll. The team has won 4 in a row and are now looking to pick up their 2nd SEC win.

The No. 9 Tigers are also looking for another SEC win, but the Aggies will be their toughest matchup yet. The Tigers escaped with an overtime win over Vanderbilt in their 1st conference test.

These SEC rivals will kick off at Noon ET. Wease has brought the blanket into Kyle Field.
