Signee Montaric Brown joins Arkansas after completing academic work

Four-star DB signee Montaric Brown has officially joined the Razorbacks.
Brown joined the team after officially being cleared on Monday. He now faces a tough road ahead in terms of seeing playing time this season.

(Brown) is obviously behind now after missing all the summer workouts and preseason work to this point, but the biggest thing for both Brown and the Hogs is he is now eligible and on campus. He can redshirt if needed which would seem likely at this point though obviously there’s no point in making that decision right now.
Arkansas finished 11th in the SEC last season with 10 interceptions. Their secondary could use some help, but Brown may be too far behind at this point to contribute this season.
At least he is cleared to work with the team and begin his career with Arkansas.
