One by one, Joe Moorhead is quieting a whole lot of doubts about whether he can recruit in the Southeast.

The first-year Mississippi State coach got yet another big-time addition to his 2019 class on Friday.

Four-star 2019 receiver Dannis Jackson announced that he’s verbally committed to the Bulldogs.

He shared that news on Twitter on Friday night:

The Sumrall, Mississippi native is rated the No. 7 player in the state and the No. 111 player overall in the 2019 class, according to the 247sports composite rankings.

The announcement came a few weeks after Jackson attended a camp at Ole Miss. But it was MSU who got the good news on Friday.

Jackson has offers from Auburn, Florida, LSU, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas and others. The 6-1, 180-pound wideout will join an already-loaded class.

With the addition of Jackson, MSU now has 15 verbal commitments, 9 of which are from Mississippi.
