Dan Mullen spent most of the 2014 season trying to coach Mississippi State to the national championship game. Instead, he’ll serve as an analyst on ESPN’s “Megacast” of the game on Jan. 12.

Mullen, Pittsburgh coach Pat Narduzzi and Nebraska coach Mike Riley will all appear on ESPN2 during the game as guest analysts for ESPN’s “Film Room” broadcast. Fellow ESPN personalities Chris Spielman and Tom Luginbill will join the coaches in the “Film Room” while they break down the game as its being played.

The “Film Room” is just one element to ESPN’s second-annual “Megacast” of the title game, which includes coverage of the College Football Playoff title game on ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNEWS, ESPNU, ESPN Classic, ESPN Deportes, ESPN Goal Line and ESPN Radio. The traditional game broadcast can be found on ESPN beginning at 7:30 p.m. ET.
