According to collegespun.com, new South Carolina head Will Muschamp is still vying for the attentions of Pennsylvania 4-star recruit Brandon McIlwain.
McIlwain was thought to be lost to the Gamecocks when Steve Spurrier stepped down, but Muschamp and his star-studded staff looks to have changed that last night.

Offensive coordinator Kurt Roper and defensive coordinator Travaris Robinson joined Muschamp on his in-home visit with McIlwain.
Right now, the only NCAA competition South Carolina faces when it comes to the quarterback is Penn State, whose coach visited with Mcilwain last week.
Mcilwain is still considering entering the MLB draft, in which he is also a top prospect.
