The No. 10 Alabama Crimson Tide had been missing forward Juwan Gary due to an injury but, according to head coach Nate Oats, Gary may be back in time for the Crimson Tide’s Thanksgiving matchup against the Iona Gaels.

Oats give an update on Gary at his Tuesday press conference.

“Juwan’s participated in some stuff in practice. He’s more likely to play Thursday than he was last Friday. I’d say he’s still up in the air, but it’s looking better. Hopefully, by Sunday for sure,” Oats said.

Before his ankle injury, Gary was averaging 6 points and 6 rebounds per game for the Crimson Tide, who enter Thursday’s game undefeated so far this season.

The Crimson Tide and the undefeated Gaels will tip-off at 5 p.m. ET on Thanksgiving night.
