Nation’s No. 1 2021 basketball prospect includes 2 SEC teams in his top 5

Jonathan Kuminga — a 5-star forward from the Democratic Republic of the Congo — is the top player in the 2021 recruiting class.
This week, he narrowed his list of his top programs to 5, and there are some big-name schools competing for his services.
As you can see below, he still has 2 SEC programs — Auburn and Kentucky — the mix for his commitment:

Auburn and Kentucky will compete with Texas Tech, Duke and the NBA G-League for Kuminga’s services in 2021-22.
Per the 247Sports composite rankings, Kuminga is the No. 1 player in the 2021 class, the No. 1 small forward and the No. 1 overall recruit from the Congo. He currently plays at The Patrick School in New Jersey.
