Nation’s No. 1 offensive lineman recruit Darnell Wright lists 3 SEC schools among his top 10
Darnell Wright has the opportunity to attend virtually any school in the nation when his high school career comes to a conclusion. While his options are vast, the Huntington, West Virginia native has narrowed his sights down to an elite group of contenders.
The five-star lineman announced that Alabama, Georgia and Tennessee have all made the cut and sit among his top 10 heading into his senior season of prep football. Wright is scheduled to be in Tuscaloosa this weekend for an unofficial visit coming off the NCAA mandated dead period in recruiting. Wright has already made several trips to Knoxville and Athens. While he has not officially set a commitment date at this point, he is expected to do so following the conclusion of his senior season.
According to Rivals, the 6-foot-6, 320-pound lineman is the nation’s best OL prospect while 247Sports Composite has him listed as the No. 2 offensive tackle and the nation’s No. 9 overall recruit.
