Nation’s No. 1 TE, Alabama target Jaleel Skinner sets commitment date

The second Saturday of October could be a big day for Alabama. Not only does the Crimson Tide play at Texas A&M but one of UA’s top targets will be announcing his college decision.
Jaleel Skinner, the 247Sports Composite’s No. 1 tight end in the class of 2022, shared Tuesday that he will be announcing his college commitment on Oct. 9.

Ahead of his senior season, Skinner made the move from Greer (South Carolina) High to the IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida. The 6-5, 210-pounder is rated the No. 10 recruit in Florida and No. 73 prospect overall nationally in the class of 2022. Last month, he narrowed his 24 scholarship offers down to a final 5 of Alabama, Clemson, Florida State, Miami and Texas.
