Nation’s No. 2 overall 2020 player lists 4 SEC teams in his top 5

The nation’s No. 1 overall 2020 recruit has already committed, but on Monday, the No. 2 2020 player — Jordan Burch — cut his list to five teams.
Burch, a 5-star defensive end out of Columbia, South Carolina, included four SEC squads among his top five schools.
As you can see below, his hometown South Carolina Gamecocks made the cut, along with Alabama, LSU and Georgia:

Those 4 SEC teams will compete with Clemson for Burch’s services.
Per the 247Sports composite rankings, Burch is the No. 1 strong-side defensive end in the class of 2020 and the No. 1 overall recruit from the state of South Carolina.
The only player currently ranked ahead of Burch in the 247Sports composite standings is Clemson commit Bryan Bresee.
