Nation’s top prospect Kayvon Thibodeaux trims list to 5, includes 2 SEC schools
To put it simply, Kayvon Thibodeaux is a wanted man.
The nation’s No. 1 overall prospect currently holds scholarship offers from nearly every major Power 5 program in the country but as his recruitment is nearing an end, the Southern California native is ready to narrow his list down to five schools. Thibodeaux recently named Alabama, Florida, USC, Oregon and Florida State as his five finalists.
The five-star recruit has made multiple visits to Tuscaloosa this spring and has seen the Florida coaching staff basically set up camp in Southern California to show him all the love they can during his recruitment. While he’s been considered a near-lock to USC previously, as his recruitment has picked up, the Tide and the Gators appear to have positioned themselves nicely with Thibodeaux before he makes his final declaration.
The 6-foot-5, 239-pound 2019 Under Armour All-American is set to compete in The Opening Finals starting this weekend and into next week.

His junior season highlight reel plays like a horror film for prep quarterbacks. It doesn’t seem fair to have to play against a player like Thibodeaux at that level.
