The NCAA has shut down Johnny Manziel again.
The former Texas A&M Heisman-winning signal caller took to Twitter on National Signing Day saying that he will no longer be able to tweet at recruits, thanks to “controversial NCAA rules.” Bylaw 13.02.13 (c) states that former players cannot “be assisting or to have been requested (by the athletics department staff) to assist in the recruitment of prospective student-athletes.”
That was a bylaw that Manziel was not abiding by.
Due to always controversial NCAA rules I will no longer be able to @ any recruits. My apologies…

As this recruiting cycle was nearing its end, Manziel had been mentioning recruits in his tweets to openly recruit for Texas A&M. The two below are 4-star safety Leon O-Neal and 4-star WR Jaylen Waddle.
