South Carolina has been in need of some good news. The Gamecocks got some on Friday.
William & Mary transfer TE Nick Muse has learned his immediate eligibility waiver has been approved by the NCAA. Muse missed South Carolina’s opener against North Carolina, but is now cleared to play on Saturday against Charleston Southern and for the rest of the 2019 season.
Kevin Muse, Nick’s father, broke the news on Friday via social media.

Nick arrived at South Carolina in June. He provides some much-needed help for the Gamecocks at tight end. Kiel Pollard, the presumptive starter at the position, learned this offseason that he has a cyst on his spinal cord and was forced to medically retire.
On Nov. 30, Muse will be facing off against his brother, Clemson safety Tanner Muse.
