Late Friday night, reports emerged from the NFL Combine stating that Alabama star linebacker Reuben Foster had been sent home after a heated argument with a hospital worker.

Foster, one of the leader’s on Alabama’s exceptional defense, was expected to be one of the top picks in this year’s draft. It’s unclear how this new development will affect his draft status, but details have emerged that don’t seem to do Foster any favors.

The NFL Combine can be a grueling and long affair for some of these athletes, no doubt, but it is also one of their biggest job interviews. While Foster’s on-field talent cannot be disputed, he finished the 2016 season with 115 tackles, 13 tackles for a loss and five sacks, this recent incident will now have some questioning his ability to handle pressure-filled situations.

Fair or unfair, that’s how small the margin for error can be for NFL prospects these days.
