New Florida kicker Eddy Pineiro put the rest of the SEC on notice on Wednesday.
The Gators had one of the worst kicking games in the league last season, eventually turning into a pre-dental student to serve as a walkon.
But that may be a thing of the past.
Florida coach Jim McElwain put kicker at the top of his recruiting priority list, reeling in Eddy Pineiro as an early enrollee.
He was at the Florida facility kicking with former Gator and 1993 Lou Groza award winner Judd Davis.
The result was a pretty fantastic Twitter video of the two of them simultaneously nailing a kick from 55 yards out.
Here’s the clip, courtesy of Gators punter Johnny Townsend:

The fact that Davis can still knock it through from that distance is probably more impressive than Pineiro making the kick.
Gators fans would likely take either one over what they saw last season.
