New Mexico State running back Ahmonte Watkins has some serious speed.
The Aggies tied things up with UMass halfway through the 2nd quarter with an 80-yard TD untouched from Watkins on a left-side handoff. Legend says he’s still running:

Watkins is a sophomore RB for the Aggies and is off to a hot start after rushing for 248 yards and 4 touchdowns last season. He was a 4-star recruit in the Class of 2021 and originally committed to play for TCU before transferring for the start of last season.
New Mexico State currently trails UMass 10-7 with less than 2 minutes until halftime.
