The New Orleans Saints are going through a coaching change after Sean Payton retired and Dennis Allen was hired to take his place.

Now, Allen is putting together his own staff, and it seems he could have his eyes on a pair of important Alabama assistants.

Per Saints insider Nick Underhill, David Ballou, Alabama’s director of sports performance, and Matt Rhea, the director of sports science, are drawing interest from the NFL squad:

Ballou and Rhea are crucial when it comes to getting Crimson Tide players ready to play, both during the offseason conditioning program and every week during the regular season.

Could Alabama soon have 2 key openings to fill? We’ll see how the Saints’ search goes over the coming days and weeks.
