The SEC introduced commissioner-in-waiting Greg Sankey on Friday in Nashville.
After an exhaustive search, the conference tapped outgoing commissioner Mike Slive’s right-hand man, who will officially take over on Aug. 1.
Sankey introduced himself to the media at the site of the SEC basketball tournament and then took some questions, discussing everything from his use of Twitter to the College Football Playoff to possible cost of attendance regulations for conference members.
