New York Giants sign former Georgia WR in place of injured Odell Beckham

It looks like Tavarres King will get a chance to make an impact with an NFL team this season.
The former Georgia Bulldog WR recently signed with the New York Giants, and there is a chance that King could start for the team on Sunday. The Giants recently lost receivers Odell Beckham Jr., Brandon Marshall, and Dwayne Harris to season-ending injuries while other receivers are battling minor injuries.
The Giants turned to King and officially announced the signing on Monday afternoon. King was drafted by the Denver Broncos in the fifth round of the 2013 NFL Draft but has yet to make a serious impact in the league. He did play with the Giants last season and recorded two catches for 50 yards in seven games.

King finished his Georgia career with 136 catches for 2,602 yards and 21 TDs. He did post back-to-back 40-catch seasons from 2011-2012 and had a career-high 950 yards during his senior year.
