The 2020 season is going to be an interesting one in Major League Baseball, as teams will play 60 games instead of 162.

One of the changes is that teams will each have 60-player pools to use throughout the season, and there was some interesting news out of the New York Mets’ camp on Monday.

Per GM Brodie Van Wagenen (as reported by Tim Healey), former Florida QB Tim Tebow has not been ruled out as the Mets work on their 60-player list:

Though Tebow is reportedly still in the mix, Healey says it would be a big surprise for him to make the final cut:

In 2019, Tebow played in 77 games for the Mets’ triple-A affiliate in Syracuse, batting .163 with 4 home runs and 19 RBI.
