Barkevious Mingo has found a new home in the NFL.

After playing for the Chicago Bears last season, Mingo has just been officially signed by the Atlanta Falcons for the upcoming NFL season.

Mingo’s addition to the roster in Atlanta means the linebacker will be on a new team for the seventh consecutive NFL season — Mingo played for Cleveland in 2015, New England in 2016, Indianapolis in 2017, Seattle in 2018, Houston in 2019 and, as mentioned, for Chicago in 2020.

Last season, Mingo appeared in all 16 games for the Bears, making three starts during that time. He registered 29 tackles, 2.5 sacks and three tackles for loss.

For his NFL career, Mingo has 211 tackles, 12.5 sacks, defended 16 passes with 40 starts and 126 total appearances.

Mingo played for LSU from 2010-2012 and had 119 tackles and 15 sacks for the Tigers before being selected with the sixth overall pick in the 2013 NFL Draft.
