The NFL Combine is set for this week in Indianapolis, and Texas running back Bijan Robinson is a name to watch.
Already projected as the top RB available in this year’s NFL Draft, Robinson will reportedly be a full participant in this week’s combine workouts. NFL insider Tom Pelissero reports Robinson will do all of the on-field drills and testing at the combine despite Texas’ pro day coming just 3 days after the combine on March 9.
Texas RB Bijan Robinson, the consensus top back in the 2023 NFL Draft, plans to do all on-field drills and testing at this week’s combine here in Indianapolis, per source. Texas pro day is March 9, just three days after the combine. But Robinson wants to compete.

Robinson finished 6th in the nation with 1,580 rushing yards in 2022 and was impressively efficient with 6.1 yards per carry. He also produced over 800 yards receiving during his college career and should be seen as the ideal versatile RB in the modern NFL system.
Outlook for Robinson
Barring something drastic, Robinson’s performance in Indianapolis should only bolster his status as RB1 in this draft class. His status as a first-round pick is likely more dependent on team needs and value at the position, but an elite combine performance could push him higher on draft boards heading toward April.
